Wet on the outside - Dry on the inside
Safe and dry
Day 7 - During the night it started to rain and it never stopped.  It is now 4:30 PM and it is still raining!  Fortunately, there was a nice, dry covered shelter right next to our campsite, so we hauled our bike and a lot of our gear under its protection.  In addition, the shelter had electricity so we were able to use the computer to download photos and play Freecell & Spider Solitaire.  The best news is that I got the phone working again by removing the battery.  I guess it is like restarting a computer.  That's a good trick to know.  More good news is that we discovered that this state park has a free WiFi spot.  I would have never guessed we would have been so lucky.  This has allowed us to download photos and update our blog, which would have been impossible otherwise, because we have no Verizon service here for our fancy phone.  It's a good thing we hauled our laptop along or we could not have added to our blog here.  Despite the continuous rain, we are quite comfortable here.  It has been a nice relaxing day after 6 days of bicycling travel.  Hopefully, the rain will end by tomorrow and we will be able to visit the sights in the Park and then move on all rested up!  It is very likely that this will be our last blog entry for a while because we are going to be traveling even deeper into parts of Missouri with no cell phone coverage and no WiFi hotspots.
